What Is The Big Red Project?

The color red is a bold and strong color that stands out and it means different things to different people; everything from joy, passion, and life to, rage, danger, and power.

Originally the red project was me playing around with the tools in Adobe Photoshop and having fun printing them out. One day I looked at my collection of photos and I wanted to create a book for all to see. While working on this project I’ve decided I want to use my art to help others; I have decided I want to donate a portion of the proceeds of my book to a local AIDS advocacy group in North Carolina. (Currently looking at groups in NC)

How Can You Be Apart Of The Project?

You can join the Big Red Project by setting up a photo session with me. Fill out the form below with your name, email address and red object you wish to be photographed with, and I will get back to you with further information. Your photo could be used in my Big Red Book. No you can not send me a photo, I must have taken the photo to be apart of the book. If you are not in the Raleigh area, we can set up a time that we can meet up in the future; the project will be going on for a while.

Need A Red Idea?

I would like people to be creative and think of something them self, but if the creative juices aren’t flowing here are a few things that I’m looking for.
Anyone: Red socks, Red roses, Red shoes, Red face paint, Red hair, sports team in red uniform, red body paint, red hair (red wigs also), red body paint, swimwear,
Men: Red tie on black or white shirt, playing basket ball someone in red,
Women: Red dress, Red make-up,
Children: Playing with Red ball or balloons, playing with red paint,

*If you'd like to do more than one objects your more than welcome. Groups are welcome as well.
